Implementing the Roadmap and Next Steps

Use the One Standard roadmap to plan the path to sustainable improvements in healthcare. Use the best available and the most appropriate tools to follow the plan. The One Standard tools may be helpful because they were developed to complete a needed but unavailable task. An example of this is One Standard preparedness assessment. It is relevant, can function as a guide to improvements, and is clear.

The roadmap has nine steps. Each step has goals that must be reached before advancing to the next step. While the path, and the tools used are variable the goals are firm. Each step has a dedicated page in this website. On these pages the goals are listed followed by a draft of a business plan to reach the goal, and tools that can assist in this.
